Story of Aspiring Entrepreneur...

Every computer science engineering student aims to work for a giant software corporate firm.
Somewhere back in time even I aimed for this. Got the job but didn't take it. On the other hand one of my friends, took the job. It was surprising for me, because since third year of engineering he was working on his own startup. I thought he just got out of the bubble of dreams into reality. I was wrong, in spite of his busy schedule, he established his startup and working to launch it on larger scale. His name is Mohd. Ahfaz.
Ahfaz is working as software developer, but he is working hard to launch his startup on larger scale. Here is a short conversation with him, which will inspire every youngster, to not give up on their dream projects.

Q. 1] Tell us about your start up in brief.
As we know unemployment is one of the biggest problems in India, because everyone is not qualified with required skill set; and those have skills, still they don't have any work. So I have built a platform, on which every local worker can earn money from their area, such as Plumber, Mechanic, and Electrician. When user will require a worker then they will call to nearer worker from their city or pin code area.
We focused on unemployed skilled people who find work to earn money in their area/city. They just have to post work details and when someone require that type of worker they will call that worker.

Q. 2] How this idea came into your mind?
When I was in 9th standard I was very interested in computer related things, so I decided to join MSCIT and learn. I used to do formatting and installation of friend and family’s computers. Sometimes I even got 100 bucks and sometimes nothing. But I was very eager to know about computer.
In 11th class I completed hardware/software diploma, where I learned how to assemble PC and some basic knowledge of C programming. I continued to provide small services for the people I know.
I thought I get customers only because of my friends and family who know me. I thought what I can do for people to know me within my area so that I will be able to solve their problems.
Then I thought if I build a platform where any needed worker will post the work details and whenever customer require any kind of worker they will go to that site and site will give them required worker. From this I will build my own company which will help to overcome unemployment of India.

 Q. 3] When did you decide to implement it?
Fortunately or unfortunately I was DC in my 2nd year due to Mathematics. Of course I was disturbed but I decided to study more, as well as utilize my time for development of ServiceSender. After learning ASP.NET within 3 months I implemented ServiceSender. With my team of 3 people, we registered our domain in 2015. Then I started my promotional work through social media, leaflets, personal contacts etc.

Q. 4] What difficulties you faced during the development stage?
One big problem for me was to implement that concept. I developed this platform all by myself initially. At coding stage I was getting number of problems, because I was doing all these process first time, such as domain registration, web hosting, how to connect my local server to web server and many other.
Now I have my own website www.servicesender.in.
Also have my android App on google playstore as Servicesender.

Q. 5] How do you manage your job and the upcoming business?
I am doing my job as a software developer from 10 am to 8 pm. After that I am doing some new business plan or website works.
Every day I am looking for opportunity to get big capital for my own company and some experience from IT industry through my job.

Q. 6] What challenges you are facing now?
Though the website and android app is user friendly, people are not technosavy, especially plumbers, electricians etc. To make them aware is the biggest challenge I am facing now.
Also I am facing problem to promote my services in India with the customized pin code area.

Q. 7] Your words for youngsters..
For me, I am not big Entrepreneur, I am just walking my dream path.  I think, if you have dream then live your dream, feel your dream and give time for it. Chase it until you are not satisfied with your work.
